This policy covers the vroomvroom app only. For the studio-wide policy and our other products, see Honour Bound Game Studios — Privacy.

The short version

vroomvroom cannot send your data anywhere. The app does not request the Internet permission, so it is technically incapable of transmitting anything off your phone. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics services, and no third-party data collection. Everything the app does happens on your device, and everything it saves is removed when you uninstall it.

Location (Drive Mode)

vroomvroom has an optional Drive Mode that makes the engine sound respond to real vehicle speed.

• Location (GPS) is used only while you have Drive Mode switched on, and only to compute your current speed in real time.
• Your position is never stored. GPS coordinates are used momentarily to derive speed and then discarded; only the resulting speed value drives the engine simulation.
• Location data is never transmitted — the app has no network access.
• If you never turn on Drive Mode, the app never accesses location at all, and you can deny the permission without affecting any other feature.

Safety note: Drive Mode is for passengers. Never operate the app while driving. For younger riders, we recommend using Drive Mode under adult supervision.

Files saved on your device

For diagnostics and bug reporting, the app writes some files to its own app-specific storage on your phone. These files stay on your device unless you personally choose to share them (for example, by copying one off the phone to send with a bug report):

• Session telemetry — a small log of simulation values (engine preset, RPM, throttle, gear, speed, audio-buffer health) recorded while the app is open, used to diagnose audio glitches.
• Bug-report captures (the 🐛 button) — if you tap the bug icon, the app records a diagnostic event log and a WAV audio file of the synthesized engine sound the app is producing. This is not a microphone recording — the app does not request or use the microphone.
• Settings — your sound-EQ preferences, stored locally.

All of these are deleted automatically when you uninstall the app, and you can delete them yourself anytime via Android's storage settings (Clear Data).

Children

The app is intended for ages 13 and up and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Data sharing and selling

We do not collect, share, or sell any personal data. We couldn't even if we wanted to — see "The short version."

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes any of the above (for example, ever adding a network feature), this policy will be updated before that version ships, with the effective date bumped.
